You’ve worked hard. You’ve earned your place. Isn’t it time to celebrate?
How do you picture the trips that reflect your hard-earned success? Is it a month in Tuscany at an incredible villa? Is it onboard a small yacht, cruising the crystal-clear waters of Croatia? Is it onboard an elegant cruise ship, with everyone dressed to the T, having a bit of caviar and insightful conversation?
My current preference? Africa. As you probably guessed, if you follow me at all.
I also love European river cruises. I have three scheduled in the coming twelve months and will relish my time on each.
Beautiful beaches are also a great choice. Truly luxurious resorts grace the beaches of some of the most easily accessible destinations for us. Cancun, Cabo, Jamaica, Barbados, St. Vincent, just to name a few.
Expedition cruises are in huge demand. High on adventure and comfort, low on run-of-mill.
How much do art and culture factor into your brilliant lifestyle? Have you experienced the best museums in the world? The Louvre, the British Museum in London, the Rijk, the Vatican Museum, the Uffizi. All are worthy of at least a day of your vacation; many are worth several days of exploration.
Horticulture is another passion of mine, and the most famous gardens in the world are famous for a reason. Keukenhof, Buchart, Monet’s Gardens, Versailles. I can go on and on, but to see is to believe and maybe it’s time for you to see them.
When I’m lying on my death bed I want to say, “I’m glad I did” rather than “I wish I had”.
