From the first time I went to Europe I was hooked. History, culture, cuisine, adventure; European travel has it all. I am an expert in European travel and have been personally escorting my own private tour groups in Europe since 2008 (see the “travel with us” tab on our website).

My travel style in Europe varies from river cruises to fully escorted tours as well as independent travel. I am the proud and amazed recipient of the 2020 "Leadership in Travel" WAVE award from the Globus Family of Brands and Travel Age West It was the first time in the history of the award that it was presented to an agent.

I am a Globus Family of Brand Diamond Elite Agent, an Avalon Waterways Specialist, a Globus Escorted Tour Expert, a CIE Expert, and an AMA Waterways Specialist. In fact, The Joy of Travel books more products within the Globus family of Brands (Globus tours, Avalon Waterways, Independent By Globus, Undiscovered by Globus, and Cosmos Escorted Tours) than any other member of the prestigious Travel Leaders network in the nation.

In April 2022 my Signature Event was a private river cruise (that’s right, I bought out an entire ship), for a Tulip Time cruise like no other. I followed that with my private, personally escorted tour of Scotland, September 2022.

In 2023 my Signature Event was a private, personally escorted trip to Kenya and Tanzania with Nairobi, February 4-18, 2023. I took only 22 guests along with me on this one for a 16 day truly exceptional experience that greatly exceeded our expectations. In fact, it changed my life. Africa was followed by my private tour of Classical Greece and the Greek Isles in October 2023.

April 2024 is a private, personally escorted tour from Paris to Normandy and along the Loire Valley (April 2024). This incredible journey introduces my group members to Chambord and Chenonceau, as well as Mont St Michel, Rouen, the home and gardens of Claude Monet, and an in depth visit to the Landing Beaches of Normandy.

My 2025 Signature Event is in the works and will be a Nile river cruise combined with an Egyptian land tour and an optional add on to Jordan.
