#1 in the Nation
Last week I talked to you about what makes The Joy of Travel unique. Remember? It’s two things,
*we don’t recommend anywhere we haven’t tried first, and
*we love to travel and take you along for the fun (personally escorted groups)
Well, my agents and I just received news that literally left me speechless. If you know me at all you know how amazing that moment must have been.
Within travel agencies there is a consortium called “Travel Leaders”. It’s truly the best of the best.
Travel Leaders are exceptional. We were invited to join and have been members since 2007. There are 5700 Travel Leaders agencies across the United States. Every single on of them are exceptional. I am proud to be associated with them.
Having set the stage, here’s the big news.
The Joy of Travel is the #1 Globus Family of Brands agency in the nation within the entire Travel Leaders Consortium.
In the nation! I am still speechless. Thank goodness I can type and tell you the news.
The Globus Family of Brands include Globus fully escorted premium tours and Avalon Waterways, which you know are my two favorites. They also include Monograms independent vacations and Cosmos fully escorted tours.
We know these products like the back of our own hands, and we’ve participated in almost every itinerary they offer. Here’s a paragraph I deleted from the blog last week:
Since 2007, I have escorted groups to Greece, the Mediterranean, France, Italy several more times, Britain Wales and Scotland, Scotland a few more times, Ireland several times, Northern Ireland, The Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Austria, The Netherlands, multiple river cruises on the Rhine, Rhone and Saone, Danube and Seine, Spain Portugal and Morocco, Turkey, and fun in the sun groups to Hawaii, across the Caribbean, and Alaska as well.
That’s just me, and almost all of that travel was done with a Globus product. When you consider my 10 other agents here and their love of and experience with the Globus products, you can see how we got to be #1 in the nation.
#1 in the nation. I won’t be able to sleep for weeks I am so overwhelmed by this news.
Here’s the thing. It’s because of YOU. If YOU didn’t join us on the tours and river cruises. If YOU didn’t trust us with your independent travel. If YOU didn’t tell your friends and invite them along for the fun, this NEVER would have happened.
The Joy of Travel opened back in 2005 as a “one woman show” in an old gas station in a town with two traffic lights. How on earth did we get from there to this?
