Is Now the Time for You to Travel?

Last week, I departed on a Mexico beach vacation with my family. I looked forward to the change of pace and scenery. The trip was fabulous…here is a short review of traveling during COVID.

Upon arrival at the airport, we masked up and walked in. Everyone in the airport is required to wear a mask, and they have stickers on the floors marking your spot to maintain social distancing. We flew American Airlines and they even boarded the plane differently allowing for Social Distancing, and for once you didn’t have everyone crowding the Gate to board!! Masks are required during the flight unless you are eating or drinking.

Upon arrival in Cancun, the same procedures are being enforced. The transfer company even sanitized our luggage before loading it into our vehicle. The driver wore a mask, a face shield, and gloves.

The Resort I stayed at is requesting Guests wear masks while walking in the lobby. They also took our temperature upon arrival, and then randomly throughout our stay. The hotels can legally only operate at 30 percent occupancy, so now is the time to take advantage of your favorite resort without it being crowded!! Hand sanitizer and masks were offered throughout the Resort. For me, we took advantage of excellent vacation pricing and enjoyed our normal Summer Vacation. Service was excellent, food was delicious, beach was gorgeous, and we returned home feeling refreshed after being pampered for 5 nights and 6 days!
