I am a Globus Girl
My life with Globus began back in 2010. Doug and I were on our very first Globus tour, the European Sampler that began in London, went on to Amsterdam, Cologne, Heidelberg, then Lucerne and finally two nights in Paris. It was just me and Doug, I was testing the Globus tour experience to see if it was something I wanted to offer to my customers.
We arrived in Paris and on day two that volcano went off in Iceland. We were stuck. Globus sent one of their motorcoaches for everyone who'd been on the tour and moved us to their Avalon ship docked on the Seine. No one could fly in and begin the cruise so it was all ours! The amazing panoramic suites, the delicious food, the fantastic service. All of it, just as though we'd paid for it, and we had not.
After 9 days of this luxurious experience, having a blast investigating everything in and around Paris, the skies cleared and we were able to go home. We did not owe a dime to anyone, didn't have to file a travel insurance claim because we suffered no loss.
This story is not at all similar to what people traveling with other tour companies experienced.
During this time we walked into a Paris pharmacy and showed them our prescription bottles. Our prescriptions were filled for one month, at no charge.
Since that original experience, the Globus family has never let me down. I was speaking to one of their VP's two nights ago, and I said one thing is for sure and certain, Globus will not only do the right thing, but they'll also do more than they had to do. They are truly a class act.
So, I've been with Globus for over a decade now. My agency is one of their top accounts in the entire United States. Years ago I told them I wanted to be the Queen of Globus in Oklahoma, then the Midwest, then the nation. Last week they sent me this cake to remind me of that initial goal. ha ha
I'm a Globus girl, always will be. Hang in there with me through this, I assure you it's all going to work out alright.
XOXO
