Welcome! Thank you for taking the time to visit our website and learn about our team! My name is Leigh Ann Lane and I am the Business Manager and a Travel Specialist at The Joy of Travel. I am a European Destination and River Cruise Specialist, priding myself in providing you with once in a lifetime travel experiences that are steeped in history, culture, and excitement. I have had the pleasure of working at The Joy of Travel for seven years now and run the agency with Joy, who also happens to be my mom! I love the day-to-day interaction with our clients through the business office and strive to provide professional, in depth, highly experienced planning services for my clients.
I’ve been traveling since the age of 15, where I experienced first-hand the wonders of a European tour, traveling from London to Paris, and then to Rome with many stops in between. I have since been back to Italy and have escorted a tour of Ireland and Scotland. I have sailed the beautiful Danube River (Germany and Austria), wondered at the beauty of Switzerland, and have two European River Cruises that will include sights in Germany, Austria, and France on the docket for 2022 and 2023. My bucket list for the next few years includes Greece, Great Britain, Iceland, and Scandinavia. I routinely dip my toes into the sand as well, visiting many of the beautiful resorts and beaches of the Caribbean and Mexican Riviera. We travel extensively to bring you the first-hand knowledge and expertise that will cultivate the perfect vacation plan for you!
I grew up in North Texas and have lived in Oklahoma for over two decades. I currently reside in beautiful Oklahoma City with my husband and son. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Oklahoma and a Master’s Degree in Public School Administration from Northeastern State University. I worked at Checotah Public Schools in Eastern Oklahoma for eight amazing years before joining Mom at the agency, learning so much and taking my teaching and administrative experiences into my role here at The Joy of Travel.
