I began my relationship with The Joy of Travel as a customer back in 2008 and in 2012 was the first agent Joy brought on board. Since then, I have had the honor of being recognized as one of the top travel professionals in the country. In 2018 I was one of only 50 agents invited to the Future Leaders in Travel Retreat, a prestigious event for the top travel professionals under 40. In 2019 was one of only 10 invited back to guide the event. I have also been featured in travel publications such as Travel Weekly and Travel Age West.
There is nothing better than firsthand knowledge and I have traveled extensively so I can better serve my clients. Some of the incredible destinations if have experienced include Italy, Ireland, Scotland, England, The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Alaska, Hawaii, and of course resorts all over the Caribbean and Mexico. Being able to not only design customized itineraries my clients love, but to be able to give advice based on my own experiences is my favorite part of being a travel advisor.
I began escorting groups in 2015 with 35 Joy of Travel clients on a two-week tour of Ireland. Since then, I have escorted 48 to Alaska in 2017, 78 down the Rhine River in 2018, was part of the team that chartered an entire Avalon river cruise through Holland and Belgium in 2022 and returned to Ireland and Scotland with 44 in 2023. Along with extensive training on river cruises and worldwide guided tours, I hold numerous certifications such as Sandals Certified Specialist, AM Resorts Master Agent, Destination Wedding & Honeymoon Specialist. I am also a destination specialist for Jamaica, Mexico, St. Lucia, Hawaii and many others.
