The DR is Different

As you may know, I just spent a week at three different resorts in the Dominican Republic.

For those of you who have never been there, the DR is different. Mexico and the DR are not interchangeable. Especially considering the Cancun/Riviera Maya/Cabo area where so many native Mexicans in the hospitality industry have lived, at one time or another, in the United States.

Our Family Vacation

My oldest grandson graduated from High School. Has there ever been a better excuse for everyone to get together and celebrate? Especially on a fabulous beach attached to a gorgeous all-inclusive resort, right?

We had ages 11, 12, 18, two in their 30’s, one in his 40’s, one in his 50’s, three in their 60’s and one 70-year-old. 11 total. All coming to the experience with a different set of needs and expectations.

Failure VS Regret

Have you ever considered the difference between “failure” and “regret”?

I looked it up, and the definition of failure is “lack of success”.

The definition for regret is “Feel sad, repentant, or disappointed over something that has happened or been done, (especially a missed opportunity).
